Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

We are a small mostly volunteer run festival and we rely a lot on goodwill and understanding to make things run smoothly. These are out normal procedures for refunds.

PROCESSING FEES:

Festival Tickets: All festival tickets that we sell (except those that are free – such as U16 and Carers) incur a processing fee. Rather than add this on top of the price you pay we include it in the ticket price. However, if and when we Refund a ticket the processing fee is no longer refunded by the card processing company (Although, once upon a time it was). Therefore, refunds will always be less the transaction/processing fee. IN generally, the fee is proportionate to the price paid. The minimum is usually £1.50, but if your purchase was for a large amount the processing fee will be bigger. Generally the fees for a £75 weekend ticket would be in the region of £3.00. This can vary depending on the card/method used to pay. We try to check the actual fee paid when the ticket was purchased rather than a flat fee so that you don’t pay more than needed and so that we aren’t out of pocket.

WHEN DO WE REFUND:

Generally, we will refund your ticket if you have a genuine reason for changing your mind. In the past this has included illness, new work commitments or other life events. We ask that you inform us of your request for a refund 7 days before the event.

EXCEPTIONS:

If you have ordered a Bell Tent with your tickets please be aware that the cut off date for changing your mind is one month before the event. This is because we have to book and pay another company for the provision and erection of the tents and their terms for refunds are 28 days prior to the event. If you have a problem after this time please get in touch and we shall attempt to either negotiate a partial refund or to hire the tent to another customer and therefore recoup some of your hire fee.
